a.k.a THE MOST BITTERSWEET THING I'VE EVER SEEN ;_____;
I'm really bad at explaining things so here's straight from the website:
Dr. Eva Rosalene and Dr. Neil Watts have rather peculiar jobs:
They give people another chance to live. Literally.
There exists a technology that allows doctors to weave artificial memories, such that a patient can request attempts to alter their mind, and wake up with memories of things that didn’t actually happen.
However, since these new memories are permanent, the conflict between them and the existing authentic memories clash in such a way that it ceases the person’s ability to properly function.
Thus, the operation is only done to people on their deathbeds, to fulfill what they wish they had done with their lives… but didn’t.
The way this is works is that the doctors go backwards through a patient's memories until they get to their childhood, from there the machine helps create new memories. Unlike the original ones, their final desire dictates the new progression of their life.
The game is the most well done RPG maker game I've ever seen, It follows the two doctors through the memories of their patient, Johnny, in order to fulfill his wish of going to the moon.
Why does he want to go there? I'm not spoiling it for you
Since you witness the events of this mans life in reverse chronological order, some things that might seem confusing suddenly become clear as the game processes. Every time I revisit this game I find more details I had missed.
The story is beautiful, the MUSIC is beautiful, just go watch/play it
Here's the song that introduced me to this game: youtu.be/OkvVr6n1cGk
